The Bible is a book and Bibliolatry is a concept wherein it’s used wrongly. Unfortunately, 2,000 years of history has shown mankind has too often used the Bible to commit crimes and killings beyond belief.

Nuvo Hotel Suites has been operating as a boutique hotel in downtown Calgary for just about 10 months now, and if you had asked me 11 months ago what lessons I thought would prepare me for working in the hotel industry, Confucian principles would not have been high on my list. However, I recently came across a paper on Confucian doctrine I wrote for a University course some time ago and I realised that a lot of Confucius’ teachings can, and should, be applied to running a hotel.
One of Tianjin’s not to be missed historical tourist attractions is sited in the Nankai District. This is the famous Confucian Temple of Tianjin, featuring a palace like facade, built more than 500 years ago. Become immersed and inspired by the Confucian Temple’s larger than life structures and elaborately ornate artefacts that reveals a glorious era of the ancient China.
The transition from Koryo to Choson dynasties was not a drastic and radical change in the historic sense. It was a rather logical and reasonable transformation not of the ruling power in Korea but societal, economic and cultural change that was caused by centuries of Koryo rule. There were numerous problems that accompanied the ending of the Koryo period and thus stimulated internal changes in the country which in turn took place in the form of a new emerging power of Choson dynasty.
The Thean Hou Temple is a temple dedicated to the Goddess Tian Hou. The temple is a Chinese temple and combines various elements from Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, the architecture of the temple is what draws many tourists to the temple.
Today American society is faced with very interesting and controversial problem concerning religion and its status on the state level. For a long time it has been considered that America is religiously diverse country which Constitution protects the freedom of religious denomination. Nevertheless, God is not accepted as the creator on the government level. If “God” does not exist why we talk about religious diversity and fight for equal religious rights and religious freedom?
